Hello?? Is anybody there??

Yes it's true I have totally been neglecting the blog! So, the next few post are going to be all encompassing of the recent happenings this past month! The time has just flown by and we have been super busy!!!  What have we been up to??  Let's see..... A lot of this... (see below)

which is great, I LOVE doing makeup!!  I love meeting a varitey of different people and there is just a wonderful feeling of satisifaction that I get from making a person look & feel beautiful!! We just moved into a new townhome right before christmas so it has been fun and time consuming unpacking, rearranging and decorating the new place!!  Lastly, my full time job of being a Mommy has taken the majority of my time as I have been spending some good quality time with my little man and enjoying some fun, new activites together!!

All about JJ:  To say he has a lot of energy would be an understatement!!  He is just really growing up and requiring more stimulation and is very inquisitive!  He is talking a lot more ( not so much full sentences, but a lot more words)  He is constantly pointing all around the room wanting to know, "what dis?"  I am a little biased, but he is just the cutest thing ever!!  He has picked up things that I do that are sooooo funny, like, every time he laughs now he throws his head back and lets out this cute over-dramatic little giggle that is totally mimicking how I laugh!  Soooo funny!  He is definitely all boy and I really hope these last couple weeks is not a preview of what is yet to come!  He burned his hand on my hair straightener (it's really not as bad as the picture looks, the burn is just on his thumb, but we have to wrap his whole hand so he won't rip it off!)....... and then shortly after that tripped over, I don't even know what in our bedroom and split his eye open! During all of this he has also had an ear infection and cough of which they gave antibiotics that caused massive diarrhea!  Fun times at our house!!!

Besides being into everything, JJ is a lot of fun and has such a cute and funny little personality!!  He keeps us thoroughly entertained!!  He is such a sweet and loving boy and brings soy much happiness into our home!!  I really cannot imagine our life without him!  He has started taking a greater interest in coloring, playdo and other more stimulating activities.  He is really growing up!!!  My baby is a now a full on toddler!!  His all time favorite activity that consumes his whole day from the time he wakes up in the morning to the time he goes to bed is............BASKETBALL!!!!  Yup, the boy is obsessed!!!

JJ has got to be the pickiest eater (next to me that is :)  So, I have been researching all of these different ideas for how to get your picky toddler to EAT!!  It stresses me out, I try and try and try to offer him all kinds of things and he wants nothing to do with any of it!!  He has his 5 favorites and that's about it!  So, we are trying this new method referred to as "grazing" (yup like a cow or goat) hee hee.  I just set his plate of assorted foods cut into fun shapes or sizes and he can just come by anytime he wants and take a few bites!  It is not sitting out all day of course, just for about an hour or so at diferrent times during the day!  It seems to be working for now, as he is a big snacker more than a sit down and eat a focused square meal!  Ugh Kids! I am soooo getting gray hair ( I know Joey is, sorry babe!) LOL
