Cruise 2009

..............We're Back!  Warning: Picture Overload!!

Where to begin?  We had an awesome time on the cruise with my Dad and sisters!  We took a 7 day cruise out of Miami on the Norwegian Pearl!  The stops included the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands) & Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas The ships own private Island)  We ate a lot, laughed a lot, had great entertainment and got to see some great sights!  Joey and I also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary while on the ship and I had a Birthday!  JJ had his own little vacation at his grandparents house, he truly got treated like a king!!  I really missed my little man!!

From Charlotte we flew to Miami and spent a night there, we took a taxi to South Beach and I am sooooooo glad we did!  That beach is gorgeous!!!!!  Kelsey, Abbey and I were also on a mission to find the clothing boutique Dash from the show, "Keeping up with the Kardashians."  After a little walking around, we found it, but unfortunately it was closed.  We still got a great pic though!!

Night 1 on the ship - There were several restaurants to choose from, including specialty restaurants like sushi and a Japanese steakhouse.  We mostly ate in the main dining rooms called the Indigo or Summer Palace for dinner.  For Breakfast though we hit up there sweet Buffet!  I need to mention that for the first night we all came prepared with those sea sickness patches and well this next pic describes how we were all feeling better than words!! :)

The Classic Animal Towels
We got to do a couple excursionson our trip, the absolute best was driving ATV's thru Samana in the Dominican Republic!  It really allowed to see more than just the touristy area.  We also swam with the dolphins in Tortola, and went snorkeling on the private island!

The locals assisted us in walking around some of the rougher terrain.  They were so nice!!

Our Tour Guide telling us about the Island's different fruits.  Did you know that their are 2 different kinds of Pinneaple?  The kind that he is talking about, "is not like da pinneaper in ju hone."  hahaha :)

The people are so industrious!  A few young boys jumped from these really high trees into the water for entertainment as a way to try and make some tips!

Formal Night!

My wonderful family had the waitstaff sing to me at dinner for my Birthday!  It was pretty funny! They also had the room decorated so I had a nice surprise to come back to for the night!

Chocolate Buffet!!!!!!!

Yeah - Joey had a beard all week, so when he finally shaved he left the stache (j/k just long enough for a funny pic) :)

Post - swimming with the dolphins (Darwin)

We ate, ate, & ate some more!!  The fruit was amazing, I think between Kelsey and me we probably ate 10 cantaloupes! Below- I loved going to the shows every night on the ship!  One of the dancers was from NC, so we just had to get a pic with her!

Joey and I ate Sushi at one of the specialty restaurants for our Anniversary and we truly got stuffed! It was delish!!  Happy Anniversary sweetie, I love you!

Celebrating our anniversary in St. Thomas. Yup, that's right we ate lunch at Wendy's!

NCL's Signature White Hot Party

Dad got a little sleepy during the shows, I think the rocking of the ship put him right to sleep :)

Back in Charlotte-Bittersweet...Bitter - no more Cruisin Sweet- I was reunited with my BABY!!!!
