Vinyl!

Yes it's true I love this stuff!! Vinyl makes a simply craft look so neat and professional, I just love how it makes everything look!! This is a board that I have had in my closet for 3+ years. My Brother and his wife are having a vow renewal ceremony this weekend and I thought that this would be the perfect gift for them! I just painted it black, distressed it with a sandpaper sponge, and of course ordered the fabo vinyl from my awesome friend Alisa!!! Thanks friend, it turned out great!!!

The other day I was in the kitchen cleaning out the refrigerator and apparently someone was watching a little closer than I realized..... because today as I was checking emails I realized that it got a little too quiet and when I went to investigate found the following....... JJ just started WALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can"t believe it my baby is getting so big!! I know this is technically not walking since he is using the truck for balance but he does walk too. I will post a video of that too. He likes to push this thing all over, another reason why we need more space!!

House Hunting!!

Where to begin.. Joey and I have been looking for a house and man is it exhausting and frustrating!!! It's also exciting, but right now I am just frustrated!!! I just need the perfect one to jump out and say this is IT!!! I am the house for YOU!! So far, all of the house that we have seen I have liked certain features and HATED and I mean HATED others... I wish I could just take all of the "like" features and combine them into the "perfect" house and voila!! Also, there is the area that of course in a perfect world, which this isn't, I would like to live in Ballantyne, which we could do but our house would have to be like 2 square feet in order for us to afford it, LOL (only semi-joking) Maybe one day!! Well, anyway just though I would share my frustrations for the day, I'm sure plenty of you have felt the same. Wish us luck in our quest to find our home!!!!!

Urgent Care?............Yeah Right!!!

Oh my goodness, it has been on of "those" days!! Happy Memorial everyone! It will definitely be one to remember for us and not for very positive reasons... Sorry ahead of time for being a little debbie downer. We just spent the past 3 hours at Urgent Care!! Ugh, so not fun!! Everyone is ok though, come to find out JJ just has a cold, LOL! He has been running a low grade fever for a few days due to his teething, but today it spiked to 103.9 and I freaked! So, 2.5 hours later this hillarious little dr. came in and shared the news that it was just a common cold, lovely!! On our way out the rains came and we got dumped on literally!! This day was just meant for us to stay in and watch movies I think, so that is what I intend to do the rest of the evening... after I clean the bathrooms that is!! :)

Prom!!

Kelsey had her senior prom last weekend and asked me to do her makeup!! I love being able to do my sisters makeup for all of their special events or just because!! She looked Fabulous, complete with a Taylor Swift inspired do and comlimentary makeup to her Bold, Bright, Beautiful Dress!! I don't have a picture of the whole ensemble, but here is the hair and makeup!! You look good girl!!

I was getting down in the dumps cause all of my shows were coming to a close and I was like what am I gonna watch during the summer and then it occured to me that I still had my fav to look forward to! Mothers Day!!!

So, this is obviously way late, but better late than never right?? I just wanted to say how great my Mothers day really was!! My hubby treated me like a queen! I got pampered with a mani/pedi and some much needed new clothes. He also, spent the whole day really making sure that we (JJ and I) were taken care of. Thank you for making me feel so appreciated!! The day was topped off with a delish Steak dinner and some relaxing. I hope all of you Amazing Mother's had a wonderful Day too!!!
