Yes... it's true!! I looked over and Abbey had resumed the previously occupied game of Play-doh!! I guess it's still fun to play with kids stuff somtimes even for us big kids!! LOL :) Just thought I'd share, thought it was too cute and so funny!

Girls Night!

This past Friday we had a girls night and went out to the oh-so-yummy Cheesecake Factory!! We had a great night, filled with good food, shopping, and of course lots of laughing!!!! :) Thanks girls I needed a night out!

I Love MONOGRAMS!!! I also really love great deals. I found this extra large tote bag at Garden Ridge for only $5 and then a friend, who is an amazing seamstress, was kind enough to add a cute monogram for Joey, Jr. It turned out great, I couldn't be happier!! Go Bobcats!!!

A friend of mine hooked us up with 4 seats to last nights Kings vs. Bobcats game. So, we decided to go and take JJ to his very first basketball game. Surprisingly he did really well and was really interested in what was going on. Both Grandpas came, Joey and I. We had a great time!!!

What was I thinking??

So, I recently posted about this awesome crayon roll that I wanted to win over on the Benner daily... But I am such an idiot My child isn't old enough to color!!! For goodness sakes, he can barely crawl...hahahahaha!! I said "this will be perfect for our upcoming trip to the beach!" I guess I just thought he was older for a second there or something? IDK? I know some of ya'll that read that were probably thinking the same thing so I just decided to call myself out on yes, yet again another, what my hubby likes to lovingly call a, "Candace Moment." :)

Yucky Peanut Sauce!

I have been really into trying new recipes lately... so on the menu tonight was a Thai beef stir-fry. Yum Yum right??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! The recipe called for a lot of peanut sauce and it just gave it this really weird flavor and ooey gooey consistency. So word to the wise say no to peanut sauce!! (just my personal recommendation) :)

7 Things you may NOT know about me!!

So, my friend tagged me to post 7 things about myself that others may not already know, so here goes......

1- My big DREAM in life was/is to be a famous singer. I have always loved music and the arts in general and I think it would just be the most amazing feeling to entertained thousands of people at one time!!! (by the way Idol is going these days, I may just have a shot...LOL)

2- I HATE to sleep with the sheet tucked in to the bottom of the mattress. I know this may sound weird, but it makes me feel like my feet are breaking. Joey makes fun of me and just adds that to my list of quirks but this is a really serious issue for me. :)

3- I LOVE makeup!!!! Oh I can't express the feelings I have for makeup it is such a wonderful gift to mankind.... My favorite is when I get done doing a makeover for someone, it is just the best!!

4- I am a NC junior clogging Champ!!! Yes it's true I used to be a hardcore clogger. I clogged all the way to the NC championship at nine years old and WON!!! Then I hung up my clogging shoes and retired...

5- I had a small stint playing a stand-up base in an old man blue grass band. (I don't think I need to say anything else about this) :)

6- My ideal job is to be an event planner. I love planning the perfect party!!! Especially at the end when it is a success, that gives me a lot of gratification. I would love to do that full-time!!

7- This is an obvious one, but just had to put it. I LOVE FASHION!! I joke around that I can't not buy something if I go into a store, but it's sad to say this is semi-true.. I am kinda like that girl on the shopaholic movie. I have collected an assortment of things that either do not need or do not wear. It's makes me frustrated too because I could have spent money on something good. Oh well, I will continue to work on this.... Fashion is my weakness!!!!

WHAT A JERK!!!!!

I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE WHAT A JERK JASON TURNED OUT TO BE. I AM JUST FURIOUS AFTER LAST NIGHTS SHOW. I MEAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD WEAR OFF BUT NO STILL JUST AS MAD AS WHEN I WATCHED IT. I FEEL SO BAD FOR MELISSA. SHE IS CLEARLY BETTER OFF, HE IS EMOTIONALLY DAMAGED!! I THOUGHT BRAD WAS THE WORST BACHELOR, BUT JASON HAS JUST TAKEN THAT SPOT! WE HAD SOME FRIENDS OVER FOR OUR "BACHELOR PARTY" AND WE ALL JUST SAT THERE ON THE EDGE OF OUR SEATS IN DISBELIEF!! I MEAN AND OH THE ACTING FROM MOLLY, IT WAS SO FAKE!!!! THEY HAVE BEEN SEEING EACH OTHER I KNOW IT!!! AND THE FACT THAT THEY MADE OUT AFTER HE JUST DUMPED HIS FIANCE ON NATIONAL TV WAS LIKE SPITTING IN MELISSA'S FACE!!! OH I AM JUST BESIDES MYSELF! HE IS DIVORCED FOR A REASON!!!

Just wanted to post a quick heart felt Thanks to our Parents/Grandparents (on both sides) that always make it so nice to be able to come over almost every weekend on Sunday to have dinner. This past weekend was one of many that I worked almost the whole day on Saturday and it made it so nice to have Sunday meals taken care of for us by our wonderful family members that we are so blessed to have live nearby. So Thank you for taking good care of us, we love you all!!!
